Why “Kesho”?
We chose the word "Kesho" because it means "tomorrow" in Swahili. This name embodies our vision and mission of building a brighter future for communities in Africa. Our focus on empowerment, and sustainable development reflects our commitment to creating long-term, positive change. By using "Kesho," we emphasise our dedication to fostering hope and progress for tomorrow, ensuring that the efforts we put in today lead to a better future for the communities we serve.
our mission
Kesho Collective CIC is dedicated to empowering communities through strategic partnerships, support systems and fundraising. We aim to contribute towards developmental initiatives by supporting local charities with donations and in the future look to drive economic growth by raising funds to provide capital for rural businesses.
Kesho Collective looks to provide funding to charities that are too busy doing the good work to fund raise for themselves.
We believe in a sustainable and prosperous Africa

What We Do Differently
-
We prioritise identifying and supporting small, often overlooked charities throughout Africa. These organisations are deeply embedded in their communities and make a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve. However, they often lack the visibility and resources that larger, more well-known entities possess.
By focusing on these smaller charities, we ensure that your donations have a significant impact, reaching those who need it most and supporting grassroots initiatives that are driving real change from the ground up.
-
We pride ourselves on conducting thorough and comprehensive due diligence on every charity we partner with. This process involves ensuring that each organisation is managed effectively and ethically, with transparent operations and sound governance structures. We meticulously verify that donations are utilised appropriately, guaranteeing that every dollar contributed is used responsibly and for its intended purpose.
Our commitment to due diligence ensures that your contributions are not only impactful but also trusted and secure, providing peace of mind that your generosity is making a meaningful difference.
-
We meticulously select the best possible providers for necessary supplies and services, ensuring both quality and cost-efficiency. By negotiating competitive prices, we maximise the value of every donation. Additionally, we oversee delivery processes where necessary to ensure that these critical supplies reach the intended charities promptly and safely.
Our hands-on approach guarantees that resources are allocated effectively, minimizing waste and ensuring that your contributions are delivered in the most impactful and efficient manner possible. This meticulous attention to detail sets us apart and underscores our dedication to making every donation count.
